PROJECT RETROWAVE

Project Retrowave comes straight from the lights and sounds of the 80s.

It’s a project that speaks for itself with bright light blue and purple lighting and the infinite highway styled fan grills.
The project was sponsored by MSI which provided the perfect motherboard for this project, the MSI MEG X570 ACE, with a stunning infinity mirror embedded onto the rear IO cover.

LIGHTING AND REFLECTIONS

For this project we spent a ton of time tweaking the RGB lighting to perfection, pushing the boundaries of a proprietary controller and modifying it to match our original idea. For the first time in our studio we worked on RGB with a simple goal:

showing that RGB lighting can become something unique rather than the usual full rainbow color scheme. To enhance the lighting we also designed unique Retrowave style custom grill just for this project and we chose to run the watercooling tubes parallel one to each other.

A DISTRIBUTION PLATE TO RUN THEM ALL STRAIGHT

A custom distribution plate was designed and produced just for this product to run the tubes perfectly parallel and give the whole build a clean look.

MSI QUALITY COMPONENTS

For this Project we used a few of the best MSI top quality components.
Starting from the MEG X570 ACE motherboard to the Sekira 500X Case. The RX 5700 Gaming X also matched the build perfectly with the back and silver color scheme and its straight clean lines.
